"The perfect destination for our company's team days. The cottages were well-equipped and ideal for both working and relaxing. The Wi-Fi worked flawlessly, the saunas crowned the day, and the surrounding nature provided a great setting for a joint program. Matilda Villas met the needs of the team day perfectly."

We have already spent our company's recreation days in Mathildedal twice, in winter and summer. Matilda Villas has been an excellent base for our team of five to work, socialize and relax, such as cooking, listening to music by the fire and taking a sauna.
There are good restaurants a few minutes away and plenty to do: nature trails, mini golf, skiing and downhill driving, an art gallery, seas and lakes, gigs and quizzes, village saunas and tailored program services. We will definitely be back again.

"We stayed as a company in two cottages (11, 12) and we really liked it. The terrace had a great sunset and so I would probably recommend the lower cottage as well. The place offers bikes so you can easily get around. A short trip to Terho or the nature trail :). The cottages are great for 4 people per cottage, but can easily accommodate 5 people. The cottages actually have everything a weekend visitor could need. I definitely recommend them to companies for recreational events as well."

Here for you
Matilda Villas underwent a change of ownership in 2023 and reopened in the spring of 2024 after extensive renovations. The goal has been to create an even more comfortable and safer cottage village where vacationing feels high-quality all year round.
The renovations are visible in the cottages and throughout the area: the beds, sofas, textiles, dishes and other equipment in the cottages have been renewed, the environment has been developed to be more functional and services have been diversified. The area now includes, among other things, an electric car charging station, new barbecue areas and a cozy beach with sun loungers and activities. Boats and bicycles are available to guests free of charge.
The renovations have been largely carried out by local forces, and cooperation with local entrepreneurs is an important part of Matilda Villas' operations. We want to be an active part of Mathildedal's vibrant village community.
