Matilda Villas offers a peaceful and inspiring environment for workplace retreats, strategy work and executive team meetings. The natural environment and sea views support concentration, creative thinking and a break from everyday routines.
The spacious cottages are well suited for working together, discussions and teamwork, and the program can easily be combined with a working day's break according to your wishes. To counterbalance the work, there are outdoor activities, saunas and relaxed time together at the hut or cottages.

"We found our way there easily and parked our rental car right next to the house. The newly renovated house was very cozy, and its floor plan, with an open kitchen-living room, two bedrooms, a sauna and a spacious shower, worked perfectly.
The small beach and pier were an absolute highlight and perfect for swimming. With the warm weather, over 30 degrees, we enjoyed daily morning and evening swims. All in all a great experience."

Such an awesome cottage by the sea! The place was so beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by forests and with an amazing sea view. The cottage had modern furniture, good quality and good taste and fully equipped. The sauna was an excellent plus!

Matilda Villas underwent a change of ownership in 2023 and reopened in the spring of 2024 after extensive renovations. The goal has been to create an even more comfortable and safer cottage village where vacationing feels high-quality all year round.
The renovations are visible in the cottages and throughout the area: the beds, sofas, textiles, dishes and other equipment in the cottages have been renewed, the environment has been developed to be more functional and services have been diversified. The area now includes, among other things, an electric car charging station, new barbecue areas and a cozy beach with sun loungers and activities. Boats and bicycles are available to guests free of charge.
The renovations have been largely carried out by local forces, and cooperation with local entrepreneurs is an important part of Matilda Villas' operations. We want to be an active part of Mathildedal's vibrant village community.
Tuukka
Tuukka is one of the owners of Matilda Villas. Mathildedal has been an important place for him since childhood, and he has strong roots in the area. He also has his own cottage in the village.
Tuukka steers Matilda Villas while cherishing the spirit of the place, and the desire to preserve the area's unique atmosphere is a key starting point for the development of the cottage village in the future.
Victoria
Victoria is the village manager at Matilda Villas and the heart of the place, making sure everything is in order before arrival, during your stay and after.
Victoria has lived in different parts of the world, but the Mathildedal region has always been an important home environment. The family cottage in Teijo has been like a childhood home for Victoria, and now she has returned to the villages, bringing her small child with her to grow up in this natural and important environment.
Anu
Anu spent her childhood summers in Mathildedal, in the landscape of Klinikankulma. The area has many fond childhood memories, and the desire to offer similar experiences to others is evident in the way Matilda Villas' story and communication are structured.
Anu is responsible for Matilda Villas' marketing, communications, development projects, and system maintenance.

Are you planning a wedding, family celebration, anniversary or other important occasion? Matilda Villas offers an excellent setting for organizing events. You can book individual cottages or, if you wish, the entire cottage village for private use.
The event can be enriched with various experiences, such as a troubadour on the beach, an open fire dinner by the sea or yoga in the cottage yard. The hut offers a natural place for shared moments, an evening program or a relaxed get-together by the campfire. We are happy to help by recommending local event and program service providers through whom it is possible to make arrangements. The natural environment and seascapes create a peaceful and spectacular setting for your events.
