Matilda Villas has 18 spacious and well-equipped cottages for a year-round and hassle-free cottage holiday. The gem of our cottage village is its own small beach, where you will find a sandy beach, sun loungers and a fireplace to warm up while gazing at the stars.

High-quality accommodation all year round. Spacious rooms, a private sauna, an atmospheric fireplace and a terrace create the perfect setting for relaxation.
There are two sizes of cabins;
Villa Kukka has 120 m2 on two floors (3 separate bedrooms) and Villa Taim has 83 m2 on one level (2 separate bedrooms).

Meri-Teijo Ski & Action on lähellä Matilda Villasia ja sopii kaikentasoisille laskettelijoille.. Päivän päätteeksi voi nauttia rennosta after ski -tunnelmasta Terho Hills -ravintolassa.

Nature experiences in Teijo National Park
Teijo National Park is located right next to Matilda Villas and offers a wonderful setting for hiking, camping, berry picking, mushroom picking and enjoying the peace of nature all year round.
The area offers a variety of marked trails, beautiful lake landscapes, cliffs and marshlands, which are suitable for both short walks and day trips for the whole family.
Spending the evening at the hut
Matilda Villas has its own atmospheric hut in the middle of the cottage village. It's nice to gather around the campfire and spend the evening in peaceful togetherness.
If the hut is booked, you can also spend the evening at a campfire site on the beach, admiring the magical starry sky.
We collaborate with local catering professionals, so if you wish, you can order a chef to prepare the food on site.
Fishing all year round
The fishing waters of Mathildedal and Teijo offer excellent opportunities for diverse fishing. We have our own rowing boats for our guests to use, with easy access to the water, and in the winter season, ice fishing is easily accessible from our own beach.
We organize guided fishing trips with a local professional fisherman. Ask us more and we will plan a fishing experience that suits you.
Hop on the bike and head to town!
Matilda Villas has free bicycles for guests to use. It's a quick bike ride from us to the Mathildedal ironworks village, which is about a kilometer away.
By bike, it is easy to explore the village's restaurants, village brewery, boutiques, and historical surroundings at your own pace.
Family vacation
Our cottage village is a child-friendly and cozy vacation spot. There is a playground for children, with swings, a sandbox and a climbing frame. The playground is located next to the hut, so it's easy to cook lunch while you're busy – and food always tastes better outdoors!
In the summer, there is a small chicken coop in the yard, a water trampoline on the beach, and the fairy-tale forest surrounding the cottage village invites the little ones to go on adventure trips.
Golf
Meri-Teijo Golf is located approximately three kilometers from Matilda Villas. The high-quality and scenic course offers a pleasant setting for both amateurs and more experienced players.
The course is easily accessible, and after a day of golf it is nice to return to the peaceful surroundings of Matilda Villas, heat up the sauna and sit on the terrace to enjoy the evening.
Tennis, padel, mini golf
There are plenty of sports activities nearby. In Mathildedal Central Park, you can play tennis, paddle tennis or mini golf, whether you want to have a quick game with friends or something fun to do with the kids. Central Park offers a variety of opportunities for outdoor activities and spending time together.
Summer party
The beach at Matilda Villas is perfect for various celebrations, such as romantic picnics, evening bonfires with friends, or even larger celebrations.
The beach is located just enough away from the cottage village, creating a peaceful and private setting. Our beach has hosted 50th birthday parties, among other events, and is also ideal for weddings.

Matilda Villas koki omistajavaihdoksen vuonna 2023 ja avattiin uudelleen keväällä 2024 mittavien uudistusten jälkeen. Tavoitteena on ollut luoda entistä viihtyisämpi ja turvallisempi mökkikylä, jossa lomailu tuntuu laadukkaalta ympäri vuoden.
Uudistukset näkyvät niin mökeissä kuin koko alueella: mökkien sängyt, sohvat, tekstiilit ja astiat sekä muu varustelu on uusittu, ympäristöä kehitetty toimivammaksi ja palveluita monipuolistettu. Alueelta löytyy nyt muun muassa sähköauton latauspiste, uusia grillauspaikkoja sekä viihtyisä ranta aurinkotuoleineen ja aktiviteetteineen. Majoittujien käytössä on maksutta veneitä ja polkupyöriä.
Uudistukset on toteutettu pitkälti paikallisin voimin, ja yhteistyö alueen yrittäjien kanssa on tärkeä osa Matilda Villasin toimintaa. Haluamme olla aktiivinen osa Mathildedalin elävää kyläyhteisöä.
Tuukka
Tuukka on yksi Matilda Villasin omistajista. Mathildedal on ollut hänelle tärkeä paikka lapsuudesta asti, ja hänellä on vahvat juuret alueella. Hänellä on myös oma mökki kylässä.
Tuukka luotsaa Matilda Villasia paikan henkeä vaalien, ja halu säilyttää alueen ainutlaatuinen tunnelma on keskeinen lähtökohta mökkikylän kehittämiselle myös tulevaisuudessa.
Victoria
Victoria on Matilda Villasin mökkikyläpäällikkö ja paikan sydän arjessa. Hän huolehtii siitä, että kaikki on kunnossa ennen saapumista, vierailun aikana ja sen jälkeen.
Victoria on asunut eri puolilla maailmaa, mutta Mathildedalin seutu on aina ollut hänelle tärkeä kotiympäristö. Perheen mökki Teijolla on kuin lapsuudenkoti ja nyt Victoria on palannut kylille tuoden mukanaan myös pienen lapsensa kasvamaan tässä luonnonläheisessä ja kauniissa ympäristössä.

Anu on viettänyt lapsuutensa kesät Mathildedalissa, Klinikankulman maisemissa. Alueeseen liittyy paljon rakkaita lapsuusmuistoja, ja halu tarjota samanlaisia kokemuksia myös muille näkyy tavassa, jolla Matilda Villasin tarinaa ja viestintää rakennetaan.
